Nearing time for my next hair appointment, and I’m in the mood for a change.  Naturally a dull (only in terms of hair color), dirt blonde, I’ve been know to change it with the seasons–platinum blonde, brunette, auburn, etc.  For the past few months, I’ve been highlighting my hair with an light blonde and the faintest strands of caramel.  But I’m looking to get back to my roots–or at least blend them into the lengths of my hair.

Speaking of lengths, I’m trying to grow it out, but when your hair is curly, it’s a slow-going process. So I just try to remind myself of what the end reward will look like prior to entering the hair salon so that I don’t just impulsively make a decision to cut it all again.
I’ve been likened to a young Keri Russell, and I’m sure it’s just the curls… But I want my hair to mimic hers.

See them?  Of course you do.  They’re gorgeous and untamed.  But one likes to have options, right?  Variety is the spice of life, or so the saying goes. And Keri has somehow managed to turn her tight curls into wispy, romantic waves. #hairgoals

I’m contemplating going “bronde” and requesting bayalage.  There will be a slight transition period of toning my hair down a bit, but I’m looking forward to the change. And if you follow MoreThanTrends on Instagram, you’ll be sure to see the results first!

And it goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: none of the photos in this post are my own.  I discovered them on Pinterest and have linked each to my hair style board where you’ll see what’s inspiring me and the people I covet.  Check it out!
