I love, love, love this skirt.  And you can see why.  The colorful embroidered florals look like they belong on a designer piece, not a skirt from Zara.  I love the simplicity in the arrangement and prefer this to a true floral print, which I find often overwhelms a petite frame.  The length being right above the knee makes the skirt look stylish rather than matronly.  It also has a bring-on-Spring vibe.

For this look, I paired it with a cream and black striped sweater, a woven blazer, and a pair of black mules.  I’m also loving my new Lauren Ralph Lauren crossbody bag featured in this post.
