Ready for look no. 2?

Here it is, brought to you by Marybeth (@marybethkanderson)  who wrote:

I was torn between wearing booties or wearing the same strapped sandals from look no. 1, but given that we’re still experiencing warm, humid Louisiana weather halfway through December, I seized the opportunity to let my toes see the sunshine.  And given the tie detail of the blouse, I swapped the already simple pendant necklace for an even simpler pairing of twin gold ones (as seen in this post).  This would have been a good opportunity to pull my hair back for a little something different, but the idea came to me too late.  But regardless, I love how this look turned out and not just because I’m partial to an all black outfit.  Monochrome almost guarantees you are going to look chic, and in this case, it balances out the flashiness of the sequins.

And again, as with look no. 1, this is an outfit that would be great for an upcoming party or really any evening out!  It would even be perfect for a winter wedding.  And if you are lucky, you’ll get to enjoy a slice of one of Marybeth’s beautiful and delicious cakes before dancing the night away in these sequin pants.

Thank you, Marybeth, for participating in the #SequinStyleChallenge!
